What is the switch on the draw bar used for?

I just purchased a 2013 Crossroads Slingshot. On the draw bar to the right of the battery pack (facing the front of the camper), there is a grey plastic switch box with a red switch lever on it. I'm wondering what is its purpose. It can be set either on or off and has wires running through it going from the camper body toward the hitch area.

Looks like a shutoff switch. You can turn the power off to the inside of the trailer.

It looks like a manual battery isolation switch. As a test, turn on some lights inside of the RV and then turn that switch to off and see if they still work. If we are right they will not. I would advise that you not travel with the switch in the off position because it probably also prevents it from supplying the trailer brakes via the break-away switch.
