What is this for?

Anyone know what this is for on the side (door is to the right of the outlet) of my TT? It looks like maybe something is suppose to mount there.

Thanks

I think you are right...I did some research and that looks like what its for.

It makes sense since there is an AC plug there and a cable connection.

It's a TV mount so you can lift your interior TV from it's mount and move it outside. The only place I have found the mount is Ramco, it is only $25 but they charge you $25 to ship it normal ground even though its approx 8"x8"x2" weighing less than 2 lbs.

I think its a cable connection. I don't have the TT in my possession at the moment...its still at the factory being built

If it is a TV mount my guess is that connects it to the Antenna/Cable connections.

It's a coax connection to hook up to your TV. You should have another near your water and electric hookup for incoming cable if the campground offers it.

Yeah figured that. Nice to know they are using 1980 technology on a 2017 camper

You think that's bad look at the limited stereo/dvd console that are available. Some have added HDMI and Bluetooth but are just a quick fix to a unit that is far behind in technology.

The problem is, what to upgrade to? There is virtually nothing on the market that is anywhere close to a modern entertainment system unless you get a cheap home unit.

My unit uses a car radio single Din so there are some options. Besides I work in the AV field I figure something out.
