We have a small Aerolite, only 23 ft. hitch to bumper. Originally towed with a Tahoe, didn't like towing with that and had expensive air ride issues. Purchased an F150 and it's night and day, towing is a breeze now. Thinking of going larger but have same concerns as OP. Like the ease of towing and always fitting on sites but have realized that a bit more space might be nice. We ordered the 150 with the intention of possible larger TT so have max tow and HD payload. Now if I can keep the wife to 30 ft. I guess I should be happy. We did find a great floor plan from Wind River - the 250RDSW, however they are only sold out west. If anyone knows of a similar rear dinette model please post.
