What to consider

I am relatively new to camping with a travel trailer and have a 25' rockwood (2001 model). I would love to upgrade and of course not spend alot of money since it is only my wife, myself and our 2 labs. Also, we only go about 3 times a year. I was wondering if their is a smaller (less than 25')travel that has a bump out that we should consider? Any recommendations???? Thanks.

I just got done looking for a small trailer with a slide. There is really a lot to choose from. The 1 slide small trailer is really common now. Trailers I liked were:

1. Keystone Vantage 25RBS
2. Palomino Gazelle 210
3. Winnebago Mini
4. Skyline Koala 21CS
5. CruiserRV Funfinder 215

I ended up with a closeout Vantage 25RBS which was bigger than I initially wanted.

These were all new trailers that I coukd buy for mid teens to low 20's.

One thing I noticed was most small trailers now come with better suspension which tows smoother.

If your 3 uses per year are only long weekends I would just keep the Rockwood.

Thanks for the advice.

I may just keep my Rockwood for a few more seasons. The floor is getting soft, so that was the reason that got me looking to replace it also. I guess I will give it the once over when I pull it out of storage this year and see if everything is working as it should. If so, I may just look into fixing the floor to get me by a few more years.
