My wife and I will both turn 51 in August. We tow a 2012 Starcraft AR-ONE 15RB behind a 2011 Ram Crew Cab with the 5.7l Hemi. looking to upgrade to a larger HTT or even a TT in the fall.

Me: 59. She: 61. 2006 Toyota Tundra extra cab pulling a Lance 1885.

...unless we change our minds, as we haven't bought either yet. Still saving money and looking. I just finished my first year teaching at a CC. I went back to get my Masters so I could teach and have summers off with my wife who teaches high school.

I am 37 (38 in a few more) and the wife is 34. I have 3 girls 6,8 &15. And my other girl Layla who is a 5 yr old English yellow Lab. I just purchased a 27' keystone hideout and my TV is a 07 Ford Expedition 4x4 V8 5.4 liter. According to the Ford specs and the dealer the Expy should have no problems... We shall see! Happy RV'ing!!

Wow quite a few people towin with half ton Ram... What kind of mileage does the Hemi get towing and what's the combined gross weight of truck n trailer or what is gross weight of trailer?

These newer 26-29' trailers must weigh a lot less than my 98 33' because most people would never feel comfortable pulling mine with a half ton!

I'm getting right around 9 mpg towing, doesn't really vary much based on terrain. Our Bullet is 5600# dry, so it's definitely lighter than most older ones. I did all the research before I put the rig together, if I remember right the truck's gcvwr is right around 14,000. I do have a k&n air filter and a few other mods that may make some difference, the trailer pulls like a dream with this truck.

I'm 60 and partner is 63. Towing a 19' Lance 1575 with a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Get 14 mpg, 2 mpg more than with the smallest Jayco Swift. Only had very few to choose from without having to buy a new SUV/Truck.
Also have a small Doxie on board.

Love the Lance 1575 except for tankless hot water heater.

Hmm, 50 -34 = 16. 69 -16 = 54. Naaa. Too old. Now, if you were 14, that would work out for me. Guess I'll stick with the D, D, W.
