I'm 63 retired disabled veteran and will be towing a recently purchased 1997 27 foot Salem TT once the remodeling of the interior is done. I hate the pink and lavender foo foo contact wall paper so the interior is getting a painting, the floor is loosing the carpet for Laminate flooring and everything else is getting reupolstered.
I also have 2007 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat 6.0 V8 diesel. My partner Maggie (the dog) and I are anxious to learn as much as we can from this list and use that to enhance our traveling experiences.

Happy Trails To You!!!

78 &70 we tow a 28'NashTT or use our 8.5 Slidein. (sometimes both if we need more beds). We use an 01 Dodge Dually. We usually get 13 mpg towing and 15/18 empty.

You've got my 2007 beat by a couple or three MPG. I have a buddy with an 2006, towing basically the same rig I have and he's getting 13-14 mpg. I think the 06 gets better fuel economy.

Maybe your foot is too heavy. I was getting 10/12and then I change my driving habbits and get 13 towing the same trailers and I have gotten as high as 18 empty.
