Is the situation ideal? No. I did Platokidd's calculator and am not in the danger zone. We typically camp w/in 20 miles of where I store it with the exception of 1-2 trips a year of no more than 5-6 hours. Towed it Atlanta - Myrtle Beach in November and had no problems. Would have preferred the F250 but the cost of Diesel and needing a regular day-to-day vehicle put me in the F150 EB.

I have just under 25k miles on her now. Around 12k of that is towing the Avalanche. And yes, it's a fifth wheel.

43 just bought my first TT picking it up next week pulling it with a 2012 F150. Wife is 41 we have a 16 and 14 year old and a 6 month old silver Lab. Very excited and can't wait to go out on our first trip.
