The only time I feel anything at all is if a semi runs by us close when they are going 80+....Otherwise, we set the cruise at 60 and the diesel runs at about 1600rpm. We average 15mpg while towing.
The negatives are the same with most new TT. You can plan on early tire replacement and make sure to have your axle bearings hand packed before your first long trip.
Oh and last but not least.

Just turned 44, DW younger than me... Having fun with our '14 Shadow Cruiser 314 TSB, behind a '99 F250 SD. First trailer, and loving the life/freedoms of the open raod (when I have the money for gas, LOL)!!!

I'm 33. We have a 2014 Coachmen Catalina 31RLS. I'm driving a gas gulping 2002 GMC Sierra 2500. I mean gas chugging. 6 miles a gallon.

DH and I are both 70. Just purchased a Terry travel trailer to be towed by a 2007 GMC Sierra. Previous rigs are a Tioga motorhome and a Fleetwood popup trailer. Looking for small trips here is California with grandkids. Kinda busy with 97 YO dad-in-law.
