We are both 53 years and climbing, been camping all our life. Needed an upgrade for hunting camp, so we just bought a 2007 Outback 28RSDS. I have a 2001 F-250 with the V-10 I'll have pictures up soon enough. It's being checked out now. I'll pick her up Wednesday 4/18/2012

Hi, My husband (also a combat vet~Viet Nam) will retire this July and we are selling our 40' motorhome in order to downsize to a lightweight travel trailer that we can tow behind our 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition. It has a tow package with 'air bags' in back and printed on our tow hitch reads: Max weight 8900 lbs, Max tongue weight 890lbs. We are looking at the Forest River V-Cross and also the Rockwood Windjammers. What are you using to tow your new V-Cross? We are still confused on how much in weight and length that we can tow with our vehicle. How do you like your V-Cross?

You need to go by what the vehicle is rated for not the hitch depending on the engine and if its 4wd the tow ratings area between 5750 to 8900

I got the info from http://www.trailerlife.com/trailer-towing-guides/ if you want to look for yourself

We are both 44 and just took ownership of our first trailer. It's an '88 Nomad Weekender. It's an old girl, but in very nice shape. We pull with a 2005 Expedition.
