I pull a 30ft Heartland Prowler TT with a 2007 Toyota Tundra with Factory Tow Package. Truck has heavy duty transmission, HD rear axle, HD breaks, Transmission cooling system, HD alternator. Keep transmission serviced regularly by Toyota dealership. Pulls great, no problems so far but I haven't towed it over any mountains.

we tow a coleman travel trailer with no slide. It's our first and we are already planning on moving up.... most likely a TT with a slide and a bunkhouse.

I'm a charter member of the Medicare set. But not too old to have fun!

My very first travel trailer. 2 months ago I bought this brand new 2014 Heartland Wilderness 2175 RB. I'm loving it. Trailered it 1,000 miles so far.

I'm getting my rig ready for the 350 mile drive to Madisonville, Louisiana for the 2013 Wooden Boat Festival. 23 days to go.

Note: This rig is illegal in 25 states.

This is so much better than tent camping. My last tent camping adventure was in June and the tent got blown over at midnight in a severe thunderstorm.

I'm too old for tent camping.

We're in our 50's. Our TT is a 30' Stratus, and we tow it with a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn 4X4 Crew Cab. Here's a picture - I think - I've been wrestling with Flickr for the last 1/2 hour.

Is that a boat trailer attached to the back of your TT? What's it like towing that thing? I bet it's a bear to back up

Yes, the boat trailer is hitched to the rear bumper of the travel trailer.

The boat and trailer combined weigh 400 pounds (less than a full tank of fresh water in my travel trailer).

I don't expect it to trailer any different than the travel trailer alone, but haven't been on the road with the full rig as of this writing.

There is no chance I would ever try to backup with this rig. First unhitch the boat trailer and push it out of the way. Then backup the travel trailer, which I am getting pretty good at. Should be even better now that I have a wireless backup camera.
