Where is the converter

I have a four winds 5000 1998 18 foot trailer. I think the converter is going bad or has gone bad. I plug an extension cord into the rv cord and it trips the fuse at the house. Nothing is on in the trailer. Any help telling me where to locate the converter would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't think a bad converter would trip the breaker but something isn't right. Most travel trailer converters are built in to the breaker panel/ distribution panel. You should take the cover off and see what's going on in there. Be sure to unplug the shore power first.
