Where to find a TT for restoration

My friend is looking for an older 20'ish TT with a sound body but poor interior that he can gut the interior and rebuild to suit his own taste. What's some places to look for such a project. Obviously almost all ads are for units in good overall condition.

His motive is trying both to save on initial cost, and to have a fun project he can employee his skills on. He's never done a TT before but has lots of home experience.

Have him call local campgrounds. As people age or circumstances change, they decide not to renew their seasonal site and let the TT go for next to nothing. I know we always have a few for sale here at the KOA. I'm going to advertise mine for $500 as I've bought a class C but can't find the title so it needs to stay on a lot in the area.

call any camper dealer. They all have a back lot somewhere or can steer you in the right direction.

Craigslist usually has plenty.
Also suggest converting a cargo trailer. Cheap and easy if you can do a lot of it yourself.
