I have a friend that has a license to trap Snapping Turtles. Every year he traps some, cleans them, breads them, and deep fat fries them on Labor Day weekend. He lives in the country with a huge back yard and a large fire pit so we all bring out campers out there and everybody brings a salad. Then we eat turtle, drink beer to excess, and sleep in our campers. It goes on for 3 days. We call it the Turtle Party.

Staying Local going to Bolding Mills CG on Lake Lanier. Nice water front site that I was lucky enough to get after other plans didn't materialize.

Going to KOA Santa Paula Ca. just 44 miles from home, this will be out very first trip with our TT. This is like a practice trip cozz we are going to Yosemite in a couple of months.

Where am I going... To dinner with a lovely lady, I have a date.
As for the RV, it's parked in a campground (St. Clair, MI) and it will be there till Monday (Labor day) and then it's moving to another nearby campground in Davison, MI.

Wife, daughter and I will be heading to Delaware Seashore SP for a long weekend. I know it will be packed but we haven't been to the beach this year at all.
