I would get the largest trailer you feel comfortable towing. I usually hear about people moving up in size, not down. I have owned three different travel trailers since 2005, all at least 34' long
I recommend an Airstream. I think that the build quality is better than most. I have recently gone from having a 2009 Coachman to a 1995 Airstream. The Airstream is in better shape than the Coachman, even though it is 14 years older. The Coachman seems like it was built as cheap as possible. You can find used Airstreams, that are 20-30 years old and older, that still hold value. You don't see that too much with other brands.

Love my forest river 301rls. The only thing I would change would be an outdoor kitchen, which is the next model or 2 up.

Only problem is my trailer maxes my truck out fully loaded. I would have to get a bigger truck to legally and safely haul anything bigger

Yeah empty weight is 7100 and 780 tongue weight. Gives me a little over 2k for all my stuff. Im rated for 11k and 1k tongue, so I really have to watch tongue weight.
