For the most part, AS owners are pretty nice, but we have been at campgrounds where there was an AS rally and some of them can get pretty snobbish.

I'd just like to interject that RV snobbery is by no means exclusive to Airstream Owners.

Obviously those aren't Airstream Forums, naturally enough since you don't have one.
I just reported what I was told when I asked what the SOB meant. I'd never heard the term used for camping trailers before.

Those are two of the answers I got. Neither of which was Some Other Brand.
Square Old Box was the leading answer.

I don't use the term for my past campers. I use the terms "Coleman" or "Fleetwood Jamboree".
Both of which, like everyone here's camper, are square when compared to an AS.
