We live in northern Virginia. I brought the TT home last week and dewinterized it. We are a few degrees below freezing at night but nice during the day. Food is loaded and we are headed to Martinsville on Thursday for the NASCAR race. Glad to be back on the road.

We have no winter and no water here in So Cal but the cities keep issuing building permits for more people to put in more houses with more lawns and pools. But the water restrictions will cause my lawn to die if I follow them. Totally NUTS at city halls everywhere.

I was born and grew up in northern Indiana. Went to college in Muncie. Really really really, really, hated the winters. Soonest I was out of school ran South...

Now living in SoCal / San Diego. Perfect...

I winterize and dewinterize myself. I made the mistake of trusting Campingworld to do that work and they lost my Hensley Arrow! Took 3 weeks to find it and then they had to order new pins for it as they lost those too!

Too much garbage, I'd rather break my knucles then miss out on opening day...

Will this winter ever end?

Last Thursday I was out starting the spring cleanup of my Timber Ridge and yard. Today between 7 am and noon we had close to 5 inches of snow. The good news is that Monday it will be 12 C or 54F. Can't wait to get the BBQ all fired up again. Bring on the camping season.

You're headed to my neck of the Woods. The Great Okanagan!

It was warm here yesterday in Coldstream. Opened up our deck. Flowers are blooming. Just about to start getting the pool cover off and top off the water. Should be a balmy 14C(57F) here this afternoon! Not bad for March.

Blew the engine last July.. Expect to be here 2-4 years before I save up for a new one...

So..I'm having a good time.. Doing some community service work (Volunteer) at a thrift store. We gave away about a thousand pounds of groceries this morning (IF everyone shows up we will hit 2200 pounds by end of day) (We picked it up Wed and moved it into the building...That was one fun day Metric ton of food plus another 500 pounds of other stuff)

Sing in the choir tomorrow.

And as noted.. only a bit over 20 miles (21.6) to Daughter's house. IN short If I got to stay a while somewhere.. HERE is where I want to be.

And the landlord makes rather fine BBQ too (one of his other businesses)

I'm at the NH Camping Show right now and it's been snowing all day. The good news is that the show has been packed all day with all of us Northern campers who are counting the days until camping season starts. The excitement inside is contagious but once you leave, it's back to reality and snow.

Green paint on your lawn or artificial turf; looks great and almost no maintenance.
