Winter ? Oh yeah, I had to wear a sweatshirt two or three times this year. I almost forgot. 88 here yesterday. I can't remember a March 22 in my pool in years past.

What winter? We've had above normal temps all winter here in the PNW. Same as last year. When we have mild winters the east coast gets hammered. Downside is we have hardly any snow in the mtns. Going to be a really dry summer. I expect some water rationing in places. One of the high lakes (Diamond Lake) is usually still froze over at this time. It hasn't had ice on it for over month or two.

Our Winter in Southern Cal ended, hmmmm, about February, "2014" It amazes me how many of you Centralites, Mountainites and upper Easties flock to Fla when you've had your fill of snow...understandable, but by now, Florida must be bustin' at the seams. Besides, when you weigh 200 lbs at 8 am and 220 lbs at 8 pm after soaking in all that Florida humidity, you're gonna wish you were somewhere else...C'mon, bring some of that retirement money out to San Diego. We'll welcome you with open arms. You'll get the best of all worlds out here. Avg temp 70 year round and maybe...maybe 1 week of humidity in mid July. Just sayin'

It is a term that the folks in the North/North Eastern United States call cold/bad weather, due to the fact, we still work, and after Graduation, did not have enough brains to move to a warmer section of our country.......
4 to go for me, then I can sit and tell the folks that never seen/had "Winter/Snow" what it was like for 60 years.........

This Morning 3-4 am.

Long Island NY reported 25 degrees
Copper Harbor,MI area (Very UPPER) 11
Townsend GA 61

NOW you know why I'm glad I broke down in GA (20 miles from darling Daughter's House no less).

DO NOT FEAR you frozen folks.. August is just under 5 short months away,, IT will be warmer then... I know this because of a Sampler that hung in my Grandmother's house.

As a Rule
A Man's A Fool
When it's HOT
He wants it COOL
When it's COOL
He wants it HOT
Always Wanting
What is not.

You guys are NOT nice... didn't your parents ever tell you not to make fun of others..

Especially us winter-challenged people..

First outing of the year is T-minus 23 days and counting.. Taking the rig on Saturday to have it de-winterized and "made ready" as Capt. Kirk would say..

Can't WAIT !?!?!?
