I know nothing about solar but a friend who does tells me that the 200W Renogy package that I mentioned at the beginning is this thread should in most cases recharge my dual 12V batteries during the day after a night of light use. Lots of disclaimers obviously. During the summer with lots of sun overhead. Only using light loads at night like lights for reading and maybe some music playing. I not trying to be folly off grid or run anything big off batteries like a microwave. Just wanting to avoid running my Honda generator for an hour each morning to top off the batteries. And keep them charged while the TT is not in use.

I have a 160 watt AM solar panel with 30 amp PWM controller. We use the 12 volt TV 3 to 5 hours, lights, pump etc. With fair to good sun it charges two 12 volt group 27 by early afternoon.

That's good to hear. Gives me some confidence that the 200 watts I plan to install should meet my modest needs.
