Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS

After spending lots of time in RV lots we were looking real hard at a Lance but man-o-man are they expensive. So, narrowed it down to a 2108DS. Anyone out there have one of these?

I have a 2016 Winnebago 2201DS. We bought ours new and never had a single warranty issue. It comes with a lot of upgrades over the "less expensive" trailers. LED lighting, black tank flush, battery disconnect, glass shower doors, gelcoat exterior, HW bypass valves and winterization plumbing already installed, porcelain toilet are just a few.

Our second choice was a 2250DS but the longer trailer was a bit too long for us. I have a 2006 f150, 5.7, tow package that will handle a trailer limit of 8100 but the extra 5 feet worried us. We plan on hitting national parks. However we absolutely loved the floor plan.

The National Parks are great but a lot of them were built back when campers were much shorter.

Get a good weight distribution hitch and your truck should tow that camper just fine.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. We went to a campground to try out the trailer and see how towing would be. I have a 2016 Chevy Colorado and an Equalizer hitch that was set up at the dealership. Towed it about 150 miles round trip, all the systems worked fine. It was very comfortable, though I think I'll get a memory foam pad for the mattress.

The factory mattress that Winnebago puts in their campers is just one step above a concrete picnic table. A thick foam topper makes a big difference.

We have a 2106DS that we have owned for about 2 years and it has been wonderful. We looked at the 2200 series and decided that with just the 2 of us there was no reason to go bigger. We live in Florida and frequent the state parks, There has been more than one occasion that we were able to get a spot that we couldn't have gotten with the bigger trailer.
