Winnebago Minnie plumbing problem

Our 2012 Winnebago TT has developed a leak in the drain under the shower pan . It took forever to find it in the tiny space under the pan and siphon the remaining water out of the pipes ( it shares the drain with the kitchen sink ). The problem is there is not room to replace / tighten / repair in the tiny space . I can barely get my hand in there . Short of removing the shower stall completely or cutting an access hole in the floor from underneath from outside I'm stumped . Any suggestions or thoughts ?

I'd contact Winnebago and ask if they have a strategy to solve the problem. Cutting an access hole underneath might be the way to go, just make sure you can weatherproof the replacement 'hatch' for access in the future.

olks have cut open the floor in Class A's to access fuel pumps rather than drop the tank, and other dramatic mods to access things the manufacturer didn't plan for.

Which begs the question: do manufacturers plan for anything?? LOL

Back in the days when I owned a VW microbus, I was sure that the design of the engine compartment was Hitler's revenge.

Scrimshield is the waterproofing agent u need. It is self adhesive water barrier. Stuff is amazing.
