Winter Storage

A few small details. I live in MN. I store my 27 foot XLR Toy Hauler in my back yard on the grass. (Pad next year) Not covered. Now my question. Can I leave the camper stored without lowering the 4 sissor jacks? I plan on going South with it in January and don't want the Jacks froze to the ground when I get ready to go.

The only reason to deploy them is to keep the trailer from rocking as you move around instead. If you don't mind the movement, no need to deploy them.

I do go in and out of my trailer every day so the scissor jacks get deployed. I rest them on plastic Lynx Levelers. Never had a problem with freezing to the ground that way.

Fine to leave them up. I would recommend putting the tires on boards though.

Wood or rubber mats for the tires won't hurt. It might also be a good idea to put the awnings out during dry spells to be sure they don't mold. Pretty hard to remove it without stains showing.
