I agree, this is why I try to do all my own maintenance and modifications.
Once had a new motor put in and in the first 200 miles wires came loose due to cheap crimp fittings. Both time the wires landed on hot engine components had to splice the burnt wires to get back on the road. Needless to say all have been redone and with quality splices and sealed with heat shrink.
