Once upon a time I saw a 30 to 50amp adapter (like the 30 to 50amp Dogbone) but as a back to back unit like the small 30 to 15amp molded units (no cord between the plugs). Does anyone know of a source?

The one Dirk posted above is the version I use. What I like about it is that there is no length of wire and the extra terminations between wire and the terminal connections.
Typically the dogbone style I use to use always ran warm....the version Dirk posted stays cool so it has less resistance and works better
