Just installed the awning saver on my MH awning. I believe the product will hold the awning but the way it is constructed, I could not tighten it on the awning support bar. The way the clamp is constructed one side of the clamp stops the other side from clamping firmly on the awning support bar. Also, the awning clamp itself twists as you tighten it. I used a wrench and could not get it to clamp on straight.

The believe product will work. I just don't like the way it installs.

I have had one now for several years and feel they are a good item to have. I agree that it was a little tricky to mount and took some modifying to make it fit right without twisting on the awning arm. They should improve on that, I agree.

I agree with ISLAPP. I had one on my last coach, this one has an electric awning. Once it is on there it is simple to loosen and tighten with the awning when extending or securing the awning. Glad I had it. I've seen and heard of too many awnings unfurl at least a little during my years traveling.
