Thumbs up Blackstone Griddle - 5 stars

I don't know who it was that recommended this to me at the Newmar Sedalia Rally but I was initially not sure about it. I have a nice propane grill that works great for me but I figured I'd go for this and give it a try. Not expensive on Amazon so I ordered one.

Well, I love this thing! I love the taste of the hamburgers I just cooked and I really like how compact it is. I still have my grill with me but I'm going to try a steak tonight and see how it turns out. I may shed the grill and enjoy more storage space and go solely Blackstone griddle for my travels going forward.

NealC are you in Naples now? We are in Marco. Wanted to let you know that there is a small RV show at Pelican Lake Resort around the corner. Only 45’ A coaches. Open house there too.

No, not yet. I decided not to blitz direct there and sit there for two weeks (I'm in NMCR Feb 3rd for a week) but stay 2 nights per stop enroute enjoying the cities and stops enroute. I hope to get a day or two at Pelican Lake before going over to NMCR so I can check out the resort. I'll know more when I hit Jacksonville this weekend and how soon I want to get down there. Hope you have a great show and appreciate the invite.

Thanks NealC for this info. My wife has been looking for something small like this to use outside for frying up a quick meal for her diet. She would use it especially for fish.

I have read fantastic reviews about this griddle as well, and then while in Orlando at the KOA our neighbor cooked everyday on his. He gave it glowing reviews as well, but it was cruel smelling all that great food he was making!

My only dilemma is whether to buy the 17" single burner version or step up to the 22" version that is sold exclusively through HSN but has two burners. It provides just a bit more cooking space for our family of 4.

Thanks Neil.

We have the Blackstone Tailgater which is 1/2 gas grill and 1/2 flat top griddle. Folds and fits nicely in a storage bay. We LOVE it. Bought it on Amazon for $179

Neal

Both NMCR and Pelican are beautiful places. Absolutely manicured with tons of high end Coach’s. I’m sure that you will enjoy.

Have a safe trip.

Tonight I had a filet mignon on the griddle. Holy moly was it good! I would never think to "fry" a steak, I love grilling. But for whatever reason it tasks amazing. It's much more tender and just cooks better it seems.

I have the 17" one and absolutely love it. Fajitas, Quesadillas, Patty Melts, Pastrami on Rye plus burgers. I still like my pork chops on the Weber. If I was going to purchase again I would get the 22". Not for the room. I have had 8 burgers on mine. But having a hot side and cool side would be nice sometimes. However for $52.00 I could not be happier.

Just bought it. I have only seasoned it and cooked eggs on it, but I love it already. Can't wait to use it camping.

I have a 17” for the RV and loved it so much I bought a 36” for at home. I love it! Smash burgers are the best burgers you’ll ever eat. Facebook group is great as well.
