I'm looking for some pros and cons on the Boily Pro 3600Si Inverter Generator and where I can buy one if they are good. I look at the Honda EU300 and the Kipor 3000 watts and they are to hight to go under my box cover and very heavy.
Thanks for your HELP
Gilles

Boliy Pro3600si genset My intrepretation of their spec sheet is that they are much better than the Kipor gensets, quieter, cleaner pure sine wave, etc. I may buy one this summer.

Just received mine today. Looks good, but the instruction book is poor. Not professionally written, and much less info than with Honda and Kipor. I down loaded a Kipor instruction and found lots of info that pertains to any generator of this size and use. The inside of unint has looks that is not something to be desired, ie muffler exhaust does not match the hole on case, and welds not too professional. There is Warranty Registration Card, but no address of where to send. No information about any US service center. So I have my fingers crossed. If anyone has good info about service, US, contats, etc PLEASE POST.

I sell them.

Service is not included with the warranty. Free parts for 2 years is what you get.

If you can turn a wrench and keep up with regular maintenance you will have a fine generator in the boliy.

I just bought one and used it on our trip to the OBX last week. It performed well and operated our air conditioner for our camper fine. However, a camper neighbor of our have a Honda EU3000 and it is definitely much quieter! Boily is a little louder, but then again I only paid less than half the price and weight of the Honda EU3000. No complaint of noise from other camper

I bought one! I've had it for a few weeks, running the RV 15K heat pump, microwave, etc(individually). I think it's just as quiet as my neighbors Yamaha. My wife and I stood beside our Boliy PRO3600si while it was powering the heat pump, talking normally. The Boliy does ramp up to maximum upon the 15K heat pump start-up, then quickly slows to a gentle purr.
It weighs 77# full on gas N oil. I bought mine for $990.00 including shipping, now they are $1,099.00 shipping included' which is still about $800 less than a Honda 3000 or Yamaha 2800.
I was told, for service work, Honda genset service shops will perform the work.

UPDATE: Pre-2008 models had a issue with the exhaust falling below the housing opening and melting the plastic panel. An engine mounting bracket extension was improved to eliminate this. Anyone can modify their Boliy like the factory mod by simply installing a shock absorber rubber grommet under the engine mounting bracket extension, below the back side of the muffler housing halfway between engine and motor mount.
Hope this is clear enough to understand.

Mike, where did you buy yours? The "new design" only became available in June, and mine is red. The owner's manual plainly says it is the new design.
