i have purchased 8 jacks in the past 15 years all where craftmans from sears from 1.5T to 20T and they all failed and they were all made in china. if you are buying a jack for an emergency flat tire repair don't by a jack made in china. it will fail when you need it most. my last jack i just got was a US JACK. i have use it two non emergency times and i can tell, that it will be dependable.

How about other bad quality things made in China: chains, gear chain, bearings, pipe, valves, fittings, you name it. Cheap to buy but that is all you can say about it. Some quality has increased lately but do not count on it.
