I have a 2011 Montana. When I bought it, the dealer offered a clear paint job over all the decals. He said that this would protect them from Sun damage. Doe anyone know if this process works? Heard anything about this or have an opinion.

Thanks:

Yes this will stop the fading but the whole motorhome will have to be clear coated for it to look right.

And if left out in the sun the clear coat will fail.

As with anything that's clear coated you have to keep it waxed.

Use Aerospace 303 Protectant on your RV decals because it has UV protection. Won't last as long as some other products but just put it on every 2-3 months. Can be purchased from several locations--just Google it and you will get several sources. Can be purchased from Camping World also.
