Dicor?

Dicor Non Leveling Non Sag Lap Sealant White 551LSW

Is this what I want to use on my 2000 Winnebago to seal the fiberglass roof where it goes behind the gutter?

This may help (see attached pic). On my Winnebago a strip of EternaBond tape was used to cover the seam where the fiberglass wraps down behind the gutter.

Dicor self leveling caulk on an edge joint would 'self level' down the side of the RV. Winnebago has a chart recommending what sealant to use where on their products.

Sealants Callout Sheets

The EternaBond tape would make more sense as RLBCCB shows.

I like it! You stuck the tape in the gutter?

It does cover the gap between the roof and the gutter putting part of the tape on the upper edge of the gutter; so yes the tape does go partially into the gutter.

Hi, Homeless!
The short answer is yes -- you can use the 551LSW behind the gutter rail.

This is because the 551LSW is the Non-Leveling/Non-Sag. This product is designed for use on vertical surfaces like your sidewalls.

BFlinn181, I believe what you were referring to would be our Self-Leveling Lap Sealant (501LSW). The Self-Leveling is for horizontal surfaces like your roof and would not be appropriate in this application.

I hope this answers your questions and clears up any confusion! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Dicor at 574-264-2699!

Good luck with the repairs, Homeless!

Safe & Happy Travels!
