Dirt Devil central vacuum heads up

Our coach has a Dirt Devil central vacuum system, as do many of yours. It is model CV950 (red power unit). Last summer it finally died, after cooking the relay board and after I replaced that, the motor committed a smoky suicide. I found replacement power units from several sources, but the tech at Dirt Devil advised me to go with the more powerful CV1500. (I think he said that this unit has actually replaced the CV950). Anyway, THe CV1500 is available through several vendors, but the best price I found was at H-P Products, for $109.90 (shipping included) whose name and information is on the back of your owners manual. If I remember correctly, the relay board cost me about $60 so a more powerful replacement power unit for that price seems like a pretty good deal.
