I agree that the 2005 version leaves A LOT to be desired. T/L did outsource the software and trying to get an answer out of the support staff is difficult at best. I prefer the Delorme software - but admit that none of them that I have tried tell me all of what I need to know; ie. height restrictions, width restrictions and propane restrictions. You would think that a program specifically designed for use with an RV would have this information.

Just got an email from T/L telling me where to send the program for a refund. They appended this comment to it "I have heard a lot of the problems will be fixed on the 2006".

OK - so they admit there are problems - I just wonder which ones WON'T be fixed in the 2006 edition (which I will not get).

Trailer Life:should set up a forum just for comments about their program. ARE YOU READING THIS TL? They have had a lot of really nice features. The problem is one issue will have a good feature and then the next one drops it. Let us RV'ers tell them what we want and like then put it all in one package. The road restrictions would be great!

I called them to complain, but they seemed uninterested. They sent me a free postage return label to return the CD set. After sending it back they billed me twice more !!

My follow up call finally cleared the air.

While I never fully liked the 2004 version because of campground location info errors ( one was 214 miles off!!) and interstate exit numbers wrong plus poor routing control, but it is better than the 2005.

I am still looking for a real good product that has a good GPS interface.
Try Street Atlas, I used Trailer Life and Street Finder. I like Street Atlas the best.
