I've just completed installation of the new RV 360 system on my coach and toad and couldn't be happier with the result.
As in other reviews of this product, I did have to read the instructions carefully and draw on a lot of patience when attempting to get the external sensors aligned with the valve stems... (grrrr) but I've now got about 400 miles on the system and all is working fine.
I have a 40 footer and decided to try it without the repeater and so far everything works well without it.
It's funny how much more relaxed I feel driving with the knowledge that I'll be alerted if anything goes wrong with a tire!
The folks at RV Upgrades were great to work with.

What do you think about the volume of the alarm? Even with the engine NOT running, there is no way I can hear the alarm. I am very very dissapointed in the unit.
I asked Doran to modify the unit, and they refused.

I sure haven't noticed a lack of volume with the alarm. I've had several "lost sensor" alarms and could hear each clearly.
Hmmmmm......

I've had mine since March and can hear the volume OK when in the drivers seat. DW can hear it too.

Maybe Bill's like me and has experienced hearing loss which, in my case, came with age. My wife hears things I never hear, especially the higher frequency tones. I was finally talked into a hearing test and hence now wear hearing aids. It really made a difference.

Hi Rick,
I too recently installed the Doram 360 and aside from the occasional lost sensor everything works pretty well. I'm curious if you hard wired it or use the cigarette receptical? If you hard wired it where did you tap into the switched and unswitched power.

I did hard wire the display. I tapped a standard "lighter" wire for the "always hot" connection and tapped into the power line for by rear camera display for the switched line. It works great. All tire pressures are available as soon as you turn on the key.
I did have a problem with "lost sensor" alarms on the first 1000 miles of my recent trip but the second half of the trip was alarm free. I don't know what that was all about but I think I'll hold off for a while before buying the repeater.
Good luck.

Thanks Rick,
Which mounting option did you use and where on the dash did you mount it

I used velcro to attach it to the dash just above the compass/temperature guage. I drilled a small hole in the dash for the hot wires to pass through to their connections. It looks clean but the view is a bit blocked by the steering wheel and the numbers are a bit hard to read while driving but it was the best compromise I could come up with.
