Seek thermal now also sells an accessory and has both an android and iOS version. That may be an alternative to consider.

Looks like Flir has now introduced a version that is android and iOS compatible.

This is really turning into a "Shut up and take my money" thing.
I signed up for the model that will work with the Ipad.

I also bought the Seek Thermal for Android. I haven't used it on rv yet but have around the house and work. Attached pictures of iron pallette and grey pallette of unit heater.

Actually, the new Flir version that plugs into the lightning connector (if your iPad has the smaller plug) will be compatible.
