It seems to be the best product that I found to remove the putty sealer residue that is left after the removal with a putty knife. If you found a better product let us know. But use it before you judge. You can buy this product at Lowe's

It's great stuff.

I used it to remove the carpet glue Winnie used to hold down my carpet to the slide ramp. Worked very well.

I recently ran out, couldn't find it for sale anywhere. Found it at walmart and bought 2 cans. Tried the pump spay, but it's different. Get the aerosol can.

Goof Off is good, but IMO De-Solv-It is the best. Harder to find, though.

Goof Off is great for removing the smudges that get on white rubber caps and covers on a rv. Like the water hose connections.

Be careful with Goof off. It is a solvent based product that will damage plastic type
materials.

I get mine at Home Depot, In fact bouight a can last week, I use it to clean the inside on my cargo doors, they get dirty and pick up black stains from the rubber molding. I love the stuff, I agree the aresol can is the best, this week I noticed they have a stronger one now available in a larger can , but the basic olne is good for me

I have used it for over 20 years. removes the fence tar on our land when working on the fence. Gas will remove lots of stuff also but feel safer with goof and other like products. Worked on the love bugs in Florida also.
