Naming a piece of equipment is a mild indicator of fetishism (we call ours Matilda). It's too bad we can't change the voice to that of Steven Hawkings. It wouldn't be as irritating to hear "Recalculating" on a repititious basis.

The suction cup mount is the only complaint that I have with the Nuvi 350. When it is hot out and sun shining in, traveling on the wonderfully perfectly smooth roads that are everywhere in this country , I find that after a few good jolts, mine ALWAYS breaks loose from the suction and falls down. I clean the surface squeaky clean, and it doesn't matter. My solution was to simply apply heavy duty grade velcro to the suction cup itself. Now it stays in place, and I have a velcro strip in 3 vehicles so I can swap it wherever I want. Great device after fixing this problem.
