Unhappy Help with TST Pressure Sensors

I am having a problem with two sensors on the inside dual wheels. In the morning they show up on the screen with the pressure and temp, as I drive they drop off and don't show anything. If I stop and the wheels cool off they appear again. I called the company, they said to get the core tool and back out the core a 1/2 or full turn. I did that and still have the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix?

Do you have the TST repeater?

Do you have any remote /wireless weather monitors (or other devices) that might be using the same frequencies?

I am having the same problem and I do have a repeater. The company was no help. They told me that I may need a second repeater. My rig is only 36 feet.

Do you have valve extensions? They were a problem for me had to replace with more expensive ones.

Did they work after you did? I do have extensions, they are steel breaded. They are mounted in a rubber grommet in one of the holes. When I called TST they said to try backing out the stem core and if that did not work the I need to replace the extensions. What type did you buy?

I had the same problem with an inner duel not reading the sensor. Still wouldn't read it after buying the repeater, but after replacing the braided valve extension with another one of the same kind everything has been perfect since.

If you have screw-on valve extenders you have 2 cores between the tire and the sensor. It is possible that you will need to adjust the core from the tire stem and then the core at the end of the extension.

Having worked with TST for years I am seriously surprised you were told you needed a second repeater. To be honest, there is one person there that I don't talk technical stuff with so I would call them again and ask for Mike or email him mbenson@tsttruck.com

Personally, I would seriously consider installing something like Dually Valve valve stems on the inners. IMHO, there are extensions that have or will leak.

still working on it

I went to buy some new extentions, in Dawson Creek B.C. They wanted 100.00 for them so I went back to the coach to look if I could get them off. Unfortunately I could not get them to budge. I did not want to put too much pressure on them and cause a new problem on the road. I may have to check my tires the old fashion way for a while like the truckers used to do. Hit the treads every time I stop with a ballpein hammer.

Better customer service than this, I don't think it's possible.
