I recently purchased the newest IWAY 600C GPS from Lowrance for our motorhome. I wanted a larger then normal screen so it could be seen easily. This unit has a 5-inch diagonal screen and it's very bright. Even in bright sunlight it can be seen easily. I was able to mount it more or less in the center of the dash so both the driver and passenger can see it and get to it easily. This of course will depend on your rig.

Operation is simple with most everything being accessed by a column of keys on the right and all other functions via touch screen. It is accurate and very responsive. It's very easy to set up a route and then just listen (no need to look at it). One neat thing about this unit over the Garmin's is the included coastal water data. If you own a boat get a second mount and take it on your boat. It has many charts and navigation data built in. It also shows creeks, rivers and inland lakes with detail.

I did, at the recommendation of a couple of fellas on a GPS Forum, purchase the external antenna. This particular unit's built in antennas doesn't seem to be as sensitive as some of the Garmin units.

Thank You for posting your though's on the IWAY 600. I have been doing research and getting ready to get a GPS soon and this IWAY was one of the few I am considering.
