Why would anyone want to!?!?

TNT Generators if such an entity actually exists, has no physical address nor even a phone number listed on their website; and they are not listed in any telephone book in North America! All of that sez Shangai scam to me!

Anyone ever tried to deal with a vendor from Shanghai, Beijing, Xinxiang, et al??

Bitter?!?!? Hardleee!! That's merely a con-artist spammer/scammer smoke-screen to deflect the fact that they've been caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Have I ever been Shanghai'd? . . . Nope! That's something that only happens to really, really stupid people . . .

No matter how old and forgetful I might become; I can only hope that I never become so old or daft that I'm no longer able to spot a Shanghai spammer/scammer/con artist from ten miles away!! If/when that happens, my kidz already have my written permission to take over the thinking process for me!

All right guys. Let's settle down and stick to the original question about GENERATORS. No more responses about anyone's character or personality please.

Great idea!

Subject: A generator tossed together in the backwoods of Communist China where the manufacturing smegma is typically serviced by slave labour camps comprised of political dissenters.

Vendor: An annonymous offshore internet entity without name, address, phone number, nor email address!

So Stan - I take it you are not in favor of the Kipor generators, huh?

Seriously though, Rtom, Stan does have some points to consider. In my construction supply business I see solicitations from many Chinese manufacturers asking for me to carry their product lines. Most of them are low price knockoffs of good old USA designs. Some of them aren't built half bad, then again, some aren't so good.

I won't handle them for a number of reasons. One is of principal. While Stan may have been "exuberant" in his disdain of them, I have to admit that I agree in principal with his reasons pertaining to the manufacturer.

The second reason is the service aspect. You really are stuck if something goes wrong. These things are sold on a low markup basis and that doesn't allow for the establishment of a service and support network.

Then again, If you have had one of these for a while and think it's a good unit (and it may be) and want another, that's your decision. I'd be sure to use a charge card because if something isn't as expected you can always go the chargeback routine through your card carrier.

You are very right cruzer and to Stan I apologize to you. I hope we can still have conversations about other things.

Kipor may be a knock off of Honda but I don't think that Honda's are made in the us either they are imported from Japan
