Great news! I always feel great when I or some else is able solve a MH problems at LOW cost.

As for your fan and if you have no 12 volt power, I added such a roof fan and routed the 12 volts up through the refrigerator roof exhaust vent. I found a 12 volt source point inside the refrig area from the outside... I fished the wire up through the vent, installed an in-line fuse holder, attached the wire/cable to the roof with marine (no screw holes in my roof) grade adhesive. This should get you started!

Flytyer, thanks. I removed the vent molding and it appears there is power there. I never thought of the roof vent and then running it over to the fan. Great idea!

I just installed the lightning rod kit on my motorhome. Easy to do and the temperature controller mounts on the water heater pressure relief valve. Hardest part was cutting through my sink cabinet to reach the ac receptacle. Had to borrow drill bits, that took a while. Nice to have it in, now my propane should last a lot longer. Doug in Mesa AZ
