I have a leak on the roof and can't seem to find how it is getting in. It's not a large link but eventually will get worst. I found a product on the web called liquid roof (Liquid Roof Coatings for Roof Leak Repair). Watching the video, it seems impressive. Before I purchased it I was reaching out to the community to see if anyone has had any experience with it or other recommendations.

Thanks in advance
Ronnie,

Hi Ronnie,
Welcome to irv2!
Try to locate the source of the leak first. Most leaks are caused by dried out lap sealant on the seems of the end caps and vents covers, skylights etc.
Generally liquid roof is used for replacing the worn outer layer of the EPDM membrane. This usually takes at least 10 years or longer to wear down. If you decide to use this product check out my blog detailing my experience with liquid roof

Ronnie, Eternabond tape is great for patching roof leaks when you find them. I use the 4" X 50 ft roll and cut patches to size - I've fixed a half dozen different leaks, resealed the ladder end points, and covered the front/end cap seams - no more leaks (and we've had a huricane and real bad storms here on the east coast recently to verify).

As John said, locate and repair the source of the leak, liquid roof is not a stop-leak. I recommend locating an RV service center that uses the Leak-Tech system. After we took delivery of our new 5er we noticed a water leak in the RR corner dripping onto the carpet. We returned to the dealer, who used the Leak-Tech system to locate the source of the leak. The tech located the source about 14' from where it was seen in the RV. He continued, and also located 2 other small leaks that were as yet undiscovered. He sealed the 3 sources and we have never had a leak since.

My husband thought he had read that the application should be done in an enclosed garage or shed to avoid dust or grit getting into the product. We will be wintering in Yuma would we be okay to apply this product outside?

I coated my old pace arrow with liquid roof outside. I really wish I hadn't done it next to that giant pine tree, got quite a few needles in it.
