For my birthday, my wife bought me a MaxxAir Vent Cover for our pop up. I believe that these covers are the best investment you can make for your RV.

When your RV is in storage, you can leave the vent open and allow hot air to escape. This keeps your RV much fresher when you take it out of storage.

When you're leaving the camper at the campground, you don't have to worry about whether its going to rain or not.

This isn't my first camper. As a matter of fact since 2000, I've had these vent covers on every RV I've owned.

MaxxAir Vent Covers are available at RV Upgrades.com, who is a sponsor of this free, RVing, website.

George

Wish my DW would take "a hint" for that cover!
I've read quite a bit of positive posts about this product & would really like to get one for our trailer, too.

And you can leave it open while driving down the road. The vent lid gets pretty dirty after awhile and you have to take the "Max Air" cover completely off to clean it. This time I bought a different brand (don't know what it is) from Camping World and it has a hinged cover so you can clean the vent lid easy. It's supposed to be made for High CFM fans.

This is the 1st MH I've had that has had them and I agree they are a great feature. I like the idea of a hinge so you do not have to take it off to clean the plastic vent top. It's not a hard job just a pita.

Its not a hard job to remove the Maxx Air on a pop up trailer when the roof is closed

I agree, I had them on my last rig and really liked them. I have been thinking of going with the hinged ones this time though.
