We finally bit the bullit and bought a movin view tracking sat sytem.CW had a 1/2 price install offer ,so said what the heck and had them do it.I was pretty clear on how I wanted it installed. When I picked it up,I was a little shocked to see it mounted in middle of coach roof.Service said they had clearance issues with a front install, okay no prob.I asked that they did not utilize the factory connectors as I wanted that for my 2nd lnb, they used it,oh well, the unit works awsome.Of course it was pouring rain on the way home and signal was spotty, wife was convinced this was a bad investment, not to worry wifey, its because of rain faid.Dont try to explain rain fade to a women who thinks spending $1400 on tv is a sin. Anyway get home and am loving my direct tv. I look down on MH from my second floor and see they ran wire along middle of roof,to front cap and held down with lap sealent.Kind of looks sloppy to me.I have seen this kind of install before and did not think it looked good. That's why they say you get what you pay for. Aside from that CW staff was great, easy to deal with.My thru the glass cb antenna was missing, dont know if it fell off on way up there or what but they gave me a new one,so I left happy. I recomend this unit, just be specific on the install.

I would not let CW touch my rig if they were the only RV business left on earth. I have never witnessed a company's customer service go downhill so far so fast as with CW over the past years.

After 1st issue, I thought give them a second chance. Mistake. First time shame on them - second time, shame on me.

Let the buyer beware!

I had CW in Elkhart, IN install the Movinview sat system on my MH about a year ago and they did a fine job. Even installed a Maxxair vent for free. It worked great and I did not have to setup the tripod dish anymore.

Went to a CW in Gulf Breeze, FL to order a window awning last Nov. and I left so mad I said I would never go back to CW again. The sales person treated me like an ignorant fool. Like I did not know what I wanted. I had already talked with CW when I was in Nashville, TN and knew exactly what was needed, but that old battle axe in Gulf Breeze stuck her nose up in the air and basically told me I wrong.

I guess it just depends on which store you are at on how good the sales/service is.

Ben,
You are correct. The qaulity of CW stores varies greatly. I've been to both the stores mentioned in your post. I agree with your assessment of them. I've spen a bunch of $s at the Nashville store and would not go back to the Gulf Breeze store.

Everything we have added to our motorhome has been purchased from and installed by CW in Mesa, AZ.... shocks, front and rear stabilizers, washer/dryer, towbar (except our tow brake which was purchased elsewhere). The staff there is superior and we have nothing but good things to say about them. Just got new tires from them last week and service was still great. They also fixed a MaxAir fan that was malfunctioning. We highly recommend them.

After spending more time on the roof,it was not as bad as I thought. They did use lap sealent everywhere.I did measure my clearance in the front ,according to the wineguard install sheet, they did the right thing and mounted it in the middle.

Hi Frankie

When I had my unit installed I had them install a seperate cable to the rear TV. When I picked up the Rig I had the rear cable running on the roof from the unit to the rear TV.

If I had realized that they were going to do this I would not have asked them to install the cable to the rear TV.

Frankie We love our in motion unit. I am sure that you will also.

In case anybody is interested....in a 2004 Diplomat, you can remove the VCR in the right front overhead cabinet and a Directv DVR will fit in the space.
