I've had all kinds of flashlights in my lifetime. Even many models of Maglites.

I finally have the best of them all. This model, the MINI MAGLITE LED has no equal. It is fantastic-

Packaging Options XL100

With winter coming on soon, and shorter periods of daylight, this is the best model I've ever owned. It will shoot a spot, bright, beam of light at night, at least 50 feet.

I carry it in the belt holster, provided in the packaging, all the time. As I get older and brightness of light diminishes for me, as I peer in bays, closets, drawers, etc this little gem is invaluable.

Everyone around me wants to always use my light, all the time- especially the bride!

I will buy them to give as Christmas gifts to close friends and family (Yes, the bride will get one also).

It only takes two "AA" and they last, with constant use, two months.

Believe me, this is a "#1- Winner" for a new product-

(and I have no affilication with the MAGLITE folks- wish I did!)

Cheers,

Even better at 205 lumins is this T15-R5 Tactical FlashLight

from Superbright LEDs. It is a variable intensity small light that has brightness & range that will astound you.

For all of you that have the bulb-style Mag-Lites, there is a drop-in replacement LED bulb that turns the flashlight into a spotlight!

See here Luxeon LED Replacement bulb specials LED Flashlight, Flashlights, Flashlight Bulbs

Or here Amazon.com: maglite led bulbs

Have no idea of the brand, but I picked up THREE 1w LED flashlights at Tractor Supply for $9.99, clearance... Best darn flashlights I've ever had for $3 bucks

Looks a lot like this one:

The only problem I have with surefire is the cost of the replacement battery. I found at Costco ,three in a pack , LED small flash lights are a better by for the buck, and the batteries are a lot cheaper. Joe

My brother-in-law is a high power LED flashlight-oholic. Everytime he visits ourr home he drops off a few more. For the most part I really like the Fenix and ITP lights he's brought

Try this place for some serious LED lights at a good price:

ShiningBeam.com Home Page

Here an example of the forums he frequents. These guys are high lumen junkies.

I carried the Mini Maglight (2AA) on my belt for many years, wore out a couple. Recently quit carrying when I retired. Great little flashlight.

For about 8-9 bux using a 3.7 volt rechargable lithium ion battery this thing is amazing! All the cops I ride with are amazed at its range and intensity...it is very bright with one AA disposable, but unbelievabe with the Li ion battery...it will light up a tree 400 ft away or flood a room with bright light and is about 4" long...
Get some of these here Focus Zoom Lens Cree Q3 Flashlight Torch Light Lamp
