Onan RV 7000 won’t shut off
I can’t shut it off at the gen switch or the panel inside the RV. The panel doesn’t recognize its running either
Looks like possible fault codes 3-3 and 3-6
Trying to find the codes.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

You should be able to find the service manual here with a little searching;

After you find the correct manual it will have the codes and a troubleshooting charts.
I would try reseating(disconnecting/reconnecting) the connectors that go to/from the control board.
Good luck.

Well I think I got lucky, and everything is working as it should. I was able to shut the generator down by stuffing a rag over the carb. I noticed after the gen shut down the fuel pump kept running. Funny thing is I never heard it run upon initial start up. I didn’t want the fuel pump running all night so I disconnected the power cable from the battery to the generator. I left it disconnected for about 10 minutes and put the cable back on to see if the pump would still run. It didn’t so I put it all back together, went inside the RV and the button for the generator start worked. Everything was back to normal. I have never seen this issue before but my guess is that there’s a terminal board in the genset that got scrambled and the power removal must have cleared it. This all started when I went to test my auto gen start!

Problem came back. Won’t shut down fron inside RV or at generator, and when I get it to shut off by pulling the power from the generator, the fuel pump stays on. (After I connect the power back up to the gen) it’s under warranty so it goes in next week.

Funny how most problems just don't go away without some type of repair input.

Will it shut off using the outside switch? The one mounted on the generator?

Might be a problem with the auto gen start commanding the generator to run and not allowing it to stop manually. Once you shut it down , it gets reset.

Either the start SWITCH is sticking in START position, or relay contacts are sticking; relay probably board mounted/ soldered, requiring board replacement (unless you can find/ replace proper relay); once GEN start w/ 120VAC GEN power available, relay circuit keeps 12VDC FUEL pump running. The START switch itself usually bypasses the FP relay contacts to make the pump run.. I more suspect the START SWITCH itself? The board locks the starter out once the GEN starts producing 120VAC

Check continuity between all grounds less then 3 ohms max. ! 1st-chassis rv.
Second swap known good control relays if unsure how to accurately test(p.s. Accurate means highly educated/school of hard knocks methodology~
