Optimum vs 303 vs Rejex

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but will give it a try. I'm looking for something to protect the fiberglass on my TT. My concerns are:

- Great UV protection.
- Easy to apply, with minimal elbow grease required.
- Reasonably long lasting.
- Not harmful to decals, rubber, etc.

After some research I am looking closely at the 3 products mentioned in the title of this thread. All 3 look like they will do the job, with Rejex possibly requiring more elbow grease than the other two. I'm wondering if anybody has had any negative experiences with any of these products?

I would use 303 for the vinyl, and Rejex or other for the fiberglass. My experience has not been so good with Rejex on vinyl graphics.

As far as Rejex is concerned, I used it on the front and windshield of my class A hoping it would help with bug removal. The Rejex moto is Nothing sticks but the shine. Apparently they're not familiar with bugs in the state of Florida. Very disappointed.

I used Rejex on the fairing of my Harley and we rode through a Monarch butterfly hatch or bloom or whatever you call it. It definitely helped with removal. I had to clean my wife's bike w/o a Rejex treatment and it was demonstrably more difficult. Applied Rejex to her bike the same evening.

Interesting. Yours is the first report I've heard of Rejex not helping with bug removal. Wonder why it didn't work for you.

I haven't decided for sure, but right now I'm leaning towards trying Rejex on the front cap and either Optimum or 303 on the sides and back of the TT. Rejex for the (hopefully) easy removal of bugs and a spray product on the rest of the TT because I'm lazy and it seems like it will be easier to do.

Someone on another forum pointed me to a product called CarPro Hydro2 Touchless Silica Sealant. I've spent some time reading reviews and watching videos and this product almost seems too good to be true. Not inexpensive, but pretty amazing. I am currently leaning this direction.

use Rejex on everything, coach, windows, aluminum wheels. I would not apply it to rubber components depending on their composition. Is the rubber smoothe, then probably yes. If the rubber components have a rough finish like a bed liner, then no because it would be hard to wipe the Rejex off.

Rejex also works great in the fiberglass shower enclosure/and on corian counter tops

We've had good luck using Zaino products, amongst others. Specifically for your UV protection, Zaino's Z-CS product is easy to apply. I call it 'Wax on - No Wax Off!'. It's not a wax, but it really is a light spray and wipe on, and then walk away.

It works well over other products too. So if you wanted to use say Rejex, or other product, on the front cap. You could then still easily go over it with Z-CS for the added UV protection, as well as the Clear Seal should also add additional protection too.

I've used it on our windows, and call it Rain X on Steroids!

Best of luck on your decision!

I have been using Rejex on my MH for years and I'm very happy with it. I also used to use it on my Cessna 421, before I sold it.

I ordered a bottle of Rejex and am going to give that a try. If application on the front cap goes well I will probably do the rest of the TT with it as well. It looks like it is fairly easy to apply and doesn't require strenuous buffing. We'll see how it goes.
