Point of View Cameras (like the GoPro HD2) quick review

Greetings - I have a family member with a GoPro Hero HD2 point-of-view camera. These are used for a lot of sports photography and for shows like BBC's Top Gear. Sony released a competitor to the GoPro called the Action Cam (models HDR-A10 and HDR-A15). The A15 version includes wireless access on a smart phone to download footage as well as to view what is on the camera.

I hope to use this quite a bit this next year with our motorhome. I did a personal review here:

I received a car kit (Panavise Model 809) and mounted the camera on my car for "on the road" video. The quality of the Youtube video here is of course worse than what was recorded. Below I demonstrate 1080p 30 frames per second and 720p 60 frames per second.

I thought I had read somewhere, perhaps the Go Pro Website, that you could link two cameras together in a case and shoot 3D movies.

I was considering a dash cam from,
BLACK BOX CAMERA SYSTEM | RVS-300 | REARVIEWSAFETY.COM
which could be an evidence enhancement if someone cut you off or cut in front and braked hard.
The Sony might be a good alternative.

I just bought the Uniden G755 version. Two wireless cameras and a wireless 7" monitor.

Around $350. Haven't played with it yet. Thinking about adding it to my coach
to get additional looks/angles.

Anyone tried these out yet?

Also came across these comments.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +

Anyone see these at Costco? They are $339 i think, and there are 2 camera and 1 7" screen to monitor the cameras.

The box is next to worthless as there are no hard specs of the cameras or anything. Oddly enough, I cannot find it on the Uniden site (not on costco's site either).

It says the cameras are indoor/outdoor and they are like small flat cameras.

The screen looks like the one here:
http://www.uniden.com/video-surveill...em/invt/g455g/

But there is no way those are the same cameras.

They also sell a flat camera, but it says indoor not indoor/outdoor.
http://www.uniden.com/video-surveill...ra/invt/gc43g/
That doesn't look like the ones I saw either.

Searching google for uniden guardian and costco brings up nothing useful.

hoping someone has one of these or has seen them and might know the specs or might be going to a costco that has them soon and can provide a model #?

edit: hmm...after looking at different views of the cameras, i believe it may be the 1st one i linked. I think they may have been packaged sideways so what I thought was the camera lens was actually part of the mounting bracket or something.
