Has anyone used this flag pole system? I'm looking for a flag holder for the ladder on my DP. Post your experience. Thanks. Rich

Thanks for reply DriVer. I want to use my existing 12 ft flag pole (1 inch) so I'm looking at their 1" brackets for about 109 bucks made of cast aluminum. Notice they have another option the includes 12' pole with brackets for 94 bucks. Brackets made of different material?? Do you know. P

My brackets are made out of plastic. They seem to work pretty well.

Thanks for the insight guys. Just ordered the 1" plastic mounts right in time for the upcoming football tailgating. Climbing to put the flag up beefore the game ain't too bad. It's that going back up after the game that risky.

Ditto the plastic brackets. I mounted a small floodlight on the ladder step and placed it on a dusk to dawn times. Illuminates the flag for all to see, including the bugs!

I also added two of those plastic power cord clips that you fins in most home improvement stores -- the type that ratchet together to resize -- at each pole bracket to provide additional support in high winds. Clip around the ladder rail and the flag pole.
