Portable folding steps

Has anyone had experience with rv-co.com's portable aluminum folding steps? They hook onto your upper step and create a landing with 3 or 4 or 5 more steps (your choice), thus making it much easier to open a travel trailer or 5th wheel trailer entry door since you now can pull the door open without having to step back down. A little pricey but look fabulous and fold and unfold accordion style and attach very securely.

Evidently not many have a problem with having to step back down when opening the trailer door. As one gets older this tends to be more and more of a problem. I am seriously considering get this in the 4 step version at 575 dollars.

I just clicked on my own posted website and it says attack page. I really don't think so.

These work very well at a fraction of $575. Fold to take little space, and uses for it abound for RV tasks.

My bad. I had the wrong price. Not 575 but 435. Here are your steel steps $347 on sale. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...h-3-step20fold. 69 lbs versus 38lbs Steel steps are not going to be as light and easy to use as aluminum anyway. If you watch their video you see they are very stout and super easy to set up. I am going to go ahead and purchase.

That was not mine. I use a simple step. About 50 bucks.

I am talking about the entrance steps into the 5th. Presently there are four and you always have to back down a step or two for the door to swing open. Your single step will not accomplish what is desired.

I got one of the little single step platform steps for times when that first step was a doozie

But I also looked into those when I had my 5er as the gyration of moving to the side to unlock, step down, opening, etc.. on ours was tricky when your hands were full since we had a slide end RIGHT next to the door so, being right handed, I too would get into some twists

Th rv-co website must have been hacked... so can't find the exact link now, but they were similar to this

but I saw one that actually stayed attached to the side of the rv and folded up with hand rails, platform, and steps...

Maybe there wasn't enough business for them and they shut down ????

Yes, the rv-co website was hacked but I emailed the guy and he said he had fixed that and resubmitted to Google but that they must not have the new version up yet. You can access the site by disregarding the attack sign. I did and have had no problems. Esp. since I have anti virus.
