Predator 3500 generator owner

Just bought the Predator 3500 and found on the Progressive industries site a video about a floating neutral plug.
My question is if running the generator with a progressive surge protector you need that plug so the protector let you have current go to your RV.

So if I put such a plug on one of the 110v outlet of the generator, will the 30A outlet will also have that neutral ground ?

If you're talking about making a shorting plug (Edison) than, Yes.

I have the same predator and I leave the shorting plug connected. I also leave a tester plugged into a visible outlet. After reading about "hotskin" I also have a handheld tester that I use periodically to test the skin.
