Progressive Dynamics - simple question

I just installed a new PD 9260CV. One simple question....I hope.... that I can not find addressed in any of their literature: there are 2 POS & 2 NEG terminal blocks on the unit. Why?

are they the same type of connector?? one of my automotive batteries has 2 POS and 2 NEG terminals but one pair are for side mounted cables and the other are for traditional top mounted cables.

I'm referring to the connectors on the converter....2 POS & 2 NEG not the on the battery.

if these are for the charging out put, 1 set is for the house batteries and the other is for the coach batteries or shore power and generator if an input connection

That is what I'm hoping but PD's literature does not mention anything about being able to read 2 battery banks. Every thing I have read about the unit has been positive but their instructions are woefully inadequate. I have attempted to email them using the form on their web site and it comes back "undeliverable".

Do not connect chassis batteries to that charger! Just the house batteries.
I had a 93 Pace Arrow diesel pusher. Back in 2005 i purchased 6 Sams Club house batteries, canned original charger and replace with the Progressive Dynamics PD60 with the charge wizzard pendant. The guy I sold the rig to two years ago is STILL using those 6 volts purchased back in 2005!
I also installed a Trimetric with shunt to keep an eye on the house batteries SOC. EXCELLENT charger.

Just installed one and I do not need the extra terminals but I always assumed they were for an additional hookup.

Our Arctic Fox 27-5L 5th. Wheel has a PD9260 in it. I think it may be so you can double up on the wires going to the batteries if need be. Mine is wired with both positive and negative 6awg going to the batteries and then has an extra 8awg positive going to a fuse block about a foot away from it. So the 8 awg and the 6 awg positive used both the positive connections and I suppose you could run another negative off the extrs negative connection.

I finally got a call back from a PD tech regarding the lugs. The converter will NOT read 2 separate battery banks. The extra lugs are for convenience of hookup only.
